Climate and Weather in Bermuda

The archipelago of Bermuda is an overseas territory that is owned by the United Kingdom and therefore dependant on London. It is located in North America, in the Atlantic Ocean just off the east coast of the United States. It consists of 123 islands, the main ones being the Great Bermuda Islands, St. George's, Saint David's and Somerset.

The climate in Bermuda is subtropical with only two seasons: a hot season and warm season. The temperature range is fairly moderate and the archipelago can be hit by hurricanes between the months of August and October. Rainfall is generally present throughout the year.

Weather in Bermuda is hot and humid between June and October. High temperatures and rainfall are important. August is the hottest and wettest month of the year. This is obviously not the best time to enjoy the beaches of Somerset Village or Tucker's Town, for example. June on the other hands displays more moderate rainfall and once combined with warm temperatures, this gives an ideal time to bask in the sun on the waterside of Flatts Village or, anywhere else for that matter.

The climate is temperate in Bermuda during the warm season that starts in November and ends in May. The temperatures are warm enough and rainfall is rather present. With the exception of May, rain is generally moderate overall. With warm temperatures, it is a nice month to disembark in Hamilton and explore the beautiful archipelago.
